Peninsula Private Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine facility provides advanced diagnostic imaging and patient care services to Melbourne’s south-east, the Mornington Peninsula, Bass Coast and surrounding regions. Webster Construction delivered the fitout of a cold shell to create one of Victoria’s earliest PET (Positron Emission Tomography) imaging facilities.
The technically complex project incorporated lead-lined walls, specialised radiation shielding and stringent compliance measures, seamlessly integrating the new department within an operational radiology clinic and live hospital environment. Careful sequencing, precision construction and rigorous quality control were critical to ensuring every element was delivered correctly the first time.
